3 Important Eclipse Essentials You Need to Know
In this video I cover everything you need to know to navigate any eclipse season, including
✔ what you need to know about the astrology of eclipses
✔ how to determine whether any given eclipse will affect you directly, and
✔ how to figure out HOW and WHY you’ll be affected
and what exactly that means for you!
Or, listen to the broadcast right here:
“Astrology is one of the most ancient sciences, held in high esteem of old, by the wise and the great.”
Here’s an exercise you can try:
Keep a notebook, journal or day planner to write down notes and keep track of events in your life during the two months–sixty days–before and after an eclipse. Also note major events in the week before and after an eclipse.
After a while you can look back at dates when the luminaries, the sun and the moon, transited the same degree as an eclipse in neighboring signs and take note of whether anything significant happened related to sign themes. See if you notice a pattern.

If an eclipse happens within three to five degrees of a natal planet or point, or within the same number of degrees of making a square, trine, or opposition to the eclipse degree and sign, continue to keep track of what comes up for you at the lunations making similar aspects in the twelve months following the eclipse.
That is to say, if an eclipse conjoins, opposes, or squares a natal position, note events at the lunations which conjoin, oppose or square the eclipse sign and degree. If an eclipse trines a planet or point in your natal chart, note events at the lunations which sextile or trine the eclipse sign and degree.
Astrology at it’s heart is about observation and pattern recognition–and about how you can best align with the natural rhythms of the universe in service of the life you want.

My astrological explorations began in 1994 and have taken me on an amazing, decades-long journey of discovery beginning with the teachings of Sybil Leek and continuing with those of Joanna Woolfolk, Nicholas Campion, Max Heindel, Ptolemy, Susan Miller, Carol Rushman, Steven Forrest, Cyril Fagan, Robert Powell, and Dane Rudhyar, to name just a few. I began reading privately for family and close friends in 2003 and following a profoundly transformational spiritual experience opened my practice to the public through Mystick Physick in 2014.
Now more than ever I see the need in the world for the life and soul guidance that astrology can offer to those who seek to understand its sublime language. Collectively we are waking up and determined to find meaning and purpose in our daily lives. This is the gift that astrology offers us.
