We’ll explore:
✔ self deception through attachment to an old, familiar narrative you may be playing on repeat,
✔ where you might be playing it safe by keeping things superficial or skimming the surface instead of getting to the heart of the matter, and
✔ when it’s in your interest to let go of old, outdated stories you’ve been telling about your life so you can begin crafting one which tells about the life you truly intend for yourself.
Use these last days of December to finalize details and complete any unfinished business from 2020 so that you can make a clean, fresh start early in the coming year.
If you need to wrap up any mental pursuit, communication or writing project, or make a pitch of some sort, this full moon could allow you the opportunity.
This is a great time to be thinking about what major initiation you’d like to make in the first part of 2021, beginning late February, when we have the support of every planet in the solar system in direct motion all at once.
Go ahead and make your new year’s resolution, but wait a few weeks to start it until after the first new moon of the year in Sagittarius, and after Uranus, our final retrograde rebel, returns to direct motion on the 14th.
Watch for news from the November 30th full moon lunar eclipse in Taurus near this date, too, as the sun passes over the eclipse degree and may activate it for some folks. My astrological explorations began in 1994 and have taken me on an amazing, decades-long journey of discovery beginning with the teachings of Sybil Leek and continuing with those of Joanna Woolfolk, Nicholas Campion, Max Heindel, Ptolemy, Susan Miller, Carol Rushman, Steven Forrest, Cyril Fagan, Robert Powell, and Dane Rudhyar, to name just a few. I began reading privately for family and close friends in 2003 and following a profoundly transformational spiritual experience opened my practice to the public through Mystick Physick in 2014.
Now more than ever I see the need in the world for the life and soul guidance that astrology can offer to those who seek to understand its sublime language. Collectively we are waking up and determined to find meaning and purpose in our daily lives. This is the gift that astrology offers us.
I’m Phaedra, astrologer and artist of Mystick Physick. I make my home in Idaho’s gorgeous Treasure Valley with my husband of 20 years, our dog Rocket and cat Jet.
