DECEMBER 2017

Cancer Sun
Cancer Rising

Expect a sudden increase in home & family related activity at the beginning of December when Mars opposes Uranus just as he enters Libra and your 4th House of home and family for a seven week stay. Mars will join Jupiter there until late January.

Uranus is shifting signs at the same time, retracing his steps back into Pisces and your 9th House of international affairs.

You could hear the news you’ve been dreaming of related to a loan or other influx of funds which allows you to expand your living arrangements. Watch the 2nd, when Jupiter in Libra reaches out to Neptune in your 8th House of other people’s resources.

Mercury stations retrograde in time for the full moon in Taurus to bring a hope or dream to fruition, within +/- 4 days. You may discover some final revisions are necessary over the coming week, and you’ll have the opportunity to make them later in the month.

The Mercury Retrograde Survival Guide

This 33 page guide is filled with everything you need to know to rock any retrograde!

You could hear news regarding a work related responsibility or possibly regarding a health concern near the 6th, and if so your home life likely makes it fairly easy to accommodate any commitments you need to make.

Watch the 10th for surprise news from a child or old love, or even regarding a creative project you’ve been working on, when Mercury sends a friendly beam to Uranus just as he retrogrades back in to Scorpio for the next two weeks.

Use these two weeks to revisit a conversation you may have had with a lover or child which perhaps ended unresolved. Be open to hearing anything they may need to say and don’t be afraid to ask clarifying questions to make sure you understand them, but don’t put them on the defensive and withhold judgement during these two weeks. Give yourself time to consider things objectively and make room for reconciliation.

Don’t be tempted to deceive a partner about finances though, or if you need to provide information or review accounts, make sure you have accurate information.

“A loan, bonus, commission or other financial boon could finally come through, allowing you to move in to a more larger, more spacious residence or even to expand the home you already have.”

Mercury conjoins the sun in your 6th House of work and health on December 12th likely bringing news from an employer or regarding your health. If you receive a job offer at this time it could benefit you to stall on accepting until just after Christmas. If that’s not possible, take the job but know something about it could change, and consider continuing your job search and look for something better to come along after Mercury stations direct and regains some strength.

On the other hand, if you’ve been seeking a diagnosis, wait until Mercury goes direct and get another opinion after the Christmas holiday, when things will be clearer. Mercury rules doctors, and in his retrograde state there may be information that is simply being overlooked which could help you in your health journey.

Mercury conjoin Venus on the 15th, when you could hear a declaration of love, or perhaps receive a gift from a child, or even unexpectedly get news from afar.

The sun enters Sagittarius on December 16th, beginning a four week stay in your 6th House of work, health, pets, and daily routine. You may be asked to take on greater responsibility at work during this time, or to take steps to preserve or restore your health, and just after Christmas would be a great time to do so.

The new moon in Sagittarius on the 18th may point the way, within +/- four days, but Mercury will resume direct motion after the 22nd, the unpredictable end date of his retrograde. You’ll want to give space to this date before taking action, so consider saving your response or your initiation until after the 25th, when things have calmed down.

Just don’t wait until the new year to begin any new health commitments, as you’ve a better chance of meeting them long term if you begin earlier.

The sun conjoins Saturn on the 21st of December, a challenging day when you may feel drained or fatigued, so be sure to get enough rest and take care of your health.

Venus joins the Sun, Saturn and Pluto in your solar 6th House the very same day, bringing a three and 1/2 week long period of cooperation to activity there.

Just in time to support Venus’s transit, Mercury stations direct on the 22nd. Mercury is erratic, unpredictable and more powerful when he’s stationary, so be sure to give this day a wide berth before resuming Mercury ruled activities.

Venus conjoins Saturn on the 25th of December, giving the Christmas holiday a somewhat serious air, and affecting Christmas eve somewhat, too.

Finally, on the 28th Mars reaches out to Neptune in your 8th House of other people’s resources. A loan, bonus, commission or other financial boon could finally come through, allowing you to move in to a more larger, more spacious residence or even to expand the home you already have.
