FEBRUARY 2018

Scorpio Sun
Scorpio Rising

The start of the month augers changes in your 9th House of international affairs, in the wake of the January 31st full moon lunar eclipse in Cancer.

Long distance travel or your experiences with foreign cultures, legal matters, publishing and broadcasting ventures or even higher education could prove significant in the coming months, potentially allowing you to advance your interests in one of these areas.

This is the second eclipse in a series of four affecting your international sector, a series which began a year ago and will continue to play out until January 2019.

Last year, late born Scorpio were most affected–those born near the end of the sign by the sidereal zodiac. This time around, mid born Scorpio babies–those born between November 28th and December 7th–will feel the eclipse most.

With the eclipse taking place in a fellow water sign, Scorpios who are personally touched by the eclipse will have some of the best chances to take advantage of the surge of energy.

Keep in mind, though, that such an free flow of energy is almost too easy to waste, and you really must take action if you want this eclipse to work for you.

If you’ve been working on important international dealings in the last six months, you could bring them to a strong conclusion in the coming weeks simply by wise use of the opportunity presented at this full moon.

You could hear from a sibling, aunt, uncle or neighbor near this full moon, too, or perhaps find you need to travel somewhere nearby.

Unexpected happenings at work keep you on your toes near the 2nd, when Uranus resumes his seven year long tour of your solar 6th House of work and health. Accidents causing injury are possible under this influence, so be sure to adhere to any necessary safety practices as a precaution. This is a time to make safety an enduring habit.

The long term trend may see you experiencing sudden changes in the type or nature of the work you do, or even experiencing a certain rebelliousness in the work place or chafing at your normal daily routines.

“You’re better able to tap into genius in your daily work, though and inventiveness serves you well in the coming years, both in terms of the way you serve and the way you care for your health. Under the right circumstances, bucking the status quo could work in your favor.”

Sudden turns of health or reversals of fortune in employment are possible under this transit, as are challenges with managing  employees as well as pets.

You’re better able to tap into genius in your daily work, though and inventiveness serves you well in the coming years, both in terms of the way you serve and the way you care for your health. Under the right circumstances, bucking the status quo could work in your favor.

Venus makes her move into Aquarius on the 6th, bringing unexpected gifts to your home and family sector as she does so. You could receive something of value from a parent or as a gift for your home.

Venus’s three and 1/2 week transit of your 4th House of home, family and real estate could inspire you to take steps to beautify your home and living environment in the coming weeks, especially through art and design.

You could face some challenging news delivered in private near the the 6th, too. Whatever it is, Jupiter steps in to help in just a few days–and while he may not swoop right in and rescue you from all difficulty, he’ll likely protect you from outright harm.

Watch for surprises again on the 13th as the sun catches a helpful hand from Uranus upon his entrance to Aquarius for a four week visit to your 4th House of home and family.

You’ve a lot going on on the home front during the coming weeks, especially with Mercury due to join the party at the new  moon here in just a few days.

Alternatively, you may be dealing with parental concerns that come up in the coming weeks. Watch the week before and after the February 15th new moon solar eclipse in Aquarius for news.

Whatever comes up could present the opportunity to arrive at a resolution of some kind–you may finally be able to put a  family related issue behind you and move on, for instance, or perhaps gain a sense of closure.

You may find this challenges your sense of self or alters your identity in some way. Your first instinct may be to fight the changes you’re now facing, but you’ll be better off reacting constructively.

You could hear good news in the financial department near the 21st, on what will be the best day to make any new moon  related initiations–so if you’re planning a home improvement project or thinking about upgrading to new digs, the 21st presents the right opportunity to begin.

If you need to sign papers at all delay as much as possible–perhaps until early March–as Neptune may be keeping you from information you need, especially around the 25th, when he tangles with Mars in your financial sector.

One way you could experience this transit is through plumbing or water related issues in the home which could trigger an expense.

If you do need to sign papers, wait until after the 28th if at all possible, or do it early, on the 21st.
